For those looking for a fairly simple way to quickly get to it, here&#8217;s my go-to method. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-medium-font-size\"><strong>You will need:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-medium-font-size\"><strong>\u2713<\/strong> A ceramic or glass that is microwave safe, heat safe<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-medium-font-size\"><strong>\u2713<\/strong> Chocolate: chips or chopped up. I batch about half a package at a time<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-medium-font-size\"><strong>\u2713<\/strong> Strong spatula: rubber or firm silicone<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-medium-font-size\"><strong>\u2713<\/strong> Digital Food Thermometer<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-medium-font-size\"><strong>Method<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-medium-font-size\">1. <strong>HEAT<\/strong>: Place 2\/3rds of the chocolate (wafers, chips or chopped pieces) into microwave safe bowl. Heat at 50% power for 1 minute. Stir the chocolate to with spatula in a folding motion so that chips on top move toward the bottom.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" data-src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/havewinewillpair.com\/staging\/4627\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/09\/Temp-Choc-1-BowlChips-530x530l.webp?w=1920&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"Temper 1 -Chocolate chips in bowl\" class=\"wp-image-4697 lazyload\" src=\"data:image\/svg+xml;base64,PHN2ZyB3aWR0aD0iMSIgaGVpZ2h0PSIxIiB4bWxucz0iaHR0cDovL3d3dy53My5vcmcvMjAwMC9zdmciPjwvc3ZnPg==\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-medium-font-size\">2. <strong>MELT<\/strong>: Microwave again at 50% power for 1 minute. Then check the level of melting, stirring well. Temperature should be between 100-110\u00b0F. This helps it cool down faster. However,  if the last bits of chocolate don&#8217;t melt it is probably got too cool. Heat for a just 15 seconds to warm up slightly to melt the last bits of chocolate. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" data-src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/havewinewillpair.com\/staging\/4627\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/09\/Temp-Choc-4-BowlMoreChips-530x530l.webp?w=1920&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-4700 lazyload\" src=\"data:image\/svg+xml;base64,PHN2ZyB3aWR0aD0iMSIgaGVpZ2h0PSIxIiB4bWxucz0iaHR0cDovL3d3dy53My5vcmcvMjAwMC9zdmciPjwvc3ZnPg==\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-medium-font-size\">4.<strong>COOL<\/strong>: Once chocolate is smooth, check the temperature. You are looking for about 90 degrees. If it is still very warm, you can also transfer to a cooler bowl.
